SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and communities
Making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable through community-led urban planning.

SDG 11 focuses on making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. As urban populations continue to grow, this goal highlights the need for improved infrastructure, affordable housing, accessible public services, and well-planned urban development. It emphasizes reducing pollution, enhancing public transport, protecting cultural heritage, and ensuring that communities are prepared for natural disasters and climate-related risks.
Building sustainable cities also means creating green and inclusive public spaces, promoting responsible waste management, and ensuring that all individuals—especially vulnerable groups—have access to safe and healthy living environments. Navdrushti contributes to this goal by supporting community development initiatives, promoting environmental awareness, and working with local partners to create safer and cleaner neighbourhoods.
We encourage sustainable practices, engage citizens in community-building activities, and help enhance access to essential services for underserved populations. Through these efforts, we aim to build resilient, empowered communities where people can live with dignity, opportunity, and a sense of belonging.
